Next week, I will officially be moving into my first apartment in Boston! While I am very sad to leave New York City, I am so excited for all of the exciting opportunities that are ahead. I have already explored quite a bit while visiting, but I am looking forward to experiencing everything the city has to offer.
A lot has happened since the last time I posted any updates to this page, my last post being my daily schedule at the very beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown. A few months prior to quarantining, I got engaged to my college sweetheart. With all of the unpredictable circumstances of 2020, we ultimately decided to push our wedding date to 2024. I graduated early from Stony Brook in May of 2020 with my Bachelor of Arts in English. That fall, I started my master’s degree at St. John’s University. My fiancĂ© then graduated from Stony Brook in May of 2021 and began his PhD in Boston in August of 2021, the same month I started teaching at a local elementary school. It was very difficult leaving my job at the school this June, but I am looking forward to visiting in the future.
