Next week, I will officially be moving into my first apartment in Boston! While I am very sad to leave New York City, I am so excited for all of the exciting opportunities that are ahead. I have already explored quite a bit while visiting, but I am looking forward to experiencing everything the city has to offer.
A lot has happened since the last time I posted any updates to this page, my last post being my daily schedule at the very beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown. A few months prior to quarantining, I got engaged to my college sweetheart. With all of the unpredictable circumstances of 2020, we ultimately decided to push our wedding date to 2024. I graduated early from Stony Brook in May of 2020 with my Bachelor of Arts in English. That fall, I started my master’s degree at St. John’s University. My fiancé then graduated from Stony Brook in May of 2021 and began his PhD in Boston in August of 2021, the same month I started teaching at a local elementary school. It was very difficult leaving my job at the school this June, but I am looking forward to visiting in the future.
